Senior and strategic role within a fast-paced global environment c. 5000 users. Your role is heavily focused on service improvement and transformational in terms of automation, integrations and maturing ITSM.
You'll need to be adept in managing teams across ITSM, Infra and Applications within global environment and ideally B2B environment.

Main responsibilities as IT Operations Director;
Responsible for business-as-usual IT Operations function within the global organisation. Supporting all users with day to day IT needs within our End User Compute environment and business critical operational infrastructure in our Data Centre facilities
Maintain a full inventory of Technology Assets and Service Catalogue
Support the creation and governance of IT Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements
Drive a significant improvement in end user service, cost optimisation, automation and speed of new service delivery by developing service improvement roadmap.
Deliver Infrastructure improvement and new service projects on time, to budget and quality across all Business Divisions and central services
Ensuring effective communications to operational stakeholders with high levels of engagement re operational technology services
Manage engagement and partnership with all 3rd party providers of services and technologies
To be successful as IT Operations Director;
10+ years of relevant work experience in a IT Operations / IT Service Management
Expert knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks e.g. ITIL
Experience of working in a global organisation
Experience of DevOps and Agile delivery methods
Experienced in successfully applying digital solutions to improve operational performance
