Role: IT Manager (Compliance, Validation, Change and Vendor Management)

Location: Maidenhead

Duration: 10 months

Start Date: ASAP

Rates: up to £525/day

Our Maidenhead based client is currently looking for an IT Manager with experience in Compliance, Validation, Change and Vendor Management for a Documentum upgrade project. You will support the Global G&A IT in all matters relating to the management of documentation and records, ensuring that G&A IT functions follow documentation policies / plans / strategies and are compliant. the role with span across 80 servers including Dev, QA and Production.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a Documentum upgrade project to version 6.
  • Working closely and manageing the relationship with the 3rd party vendor to ensure the upgrade project is meeting requiements and going to plan.
  • Work on projects including Data migration, Archiving, CMS, Change control.
  • Will manage a Test team of 3-4 people and cover around 500 test cases .
  • Manage any escalation issues.
  • Looking at the work flow and managing the validation and testing.
  • This role will involve working with high impacting customers and departments, both GxP (Enterprise applications) and Non GxP (Finance, Legal, commercial), including those in international locations of the USA, UK and Australia)
  • There will be a need to provide IT compliance best practice guidance to these customers.
  • There will frequently be a need to balance conflicting demands from customers, vendors, and IT compliance constraints.

Key Skills:

  • Regulatory compliance management of business systems in a changing environment.
  • Detailed understanding of IT Lifecycle Management, Change Control, Testing
  • Test management including the use of testing tools e.g. HPQC
  • Change management and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft skills, such as use of SharePoint, Excel, OneNote, Microsoft Office and communications tools (such as Outlook and Instant Messaging).
  • Good written English skills
