Location: London

Salary: up to £35,000 (plus benefits)

I'm working with a leading property services and facilities management firm, who are actively seeking an IT Management Assitant on an initial 12 month FTC.

Reporting into the Head of IT Service Management, the IT Management Assitant will provide administrative support across Technology Service finance, procurement and request fulfilment

Activities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to the Head of IT Service Management, CIO and other function heads within the Technology Services team.
  • Assist with correspondence, production of documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
  • Support the delivery of Technology Service projects by delivering project administration task as requested
  • Support management meetings by taking minutes and distributing notes and resources.
  • Liaise with the heads of function to support external events, conferences, arranging travel and accommodation
  • Administering the request fulfilment process in line with ITIL best practice, ensuring purchase order and procurement processes are in place and efficient for the supply of hardware, software and consumables
  • Work closely with the Head of IT Service Management, Vendor and Commercial Manager, Service Manager and Operations Team Lead to ensure the support teams are following the

correct processes

  • Day-to-day administration of our Mobile Phone contract, providing any additional support required by the Vendor and Commercial Manager as requested
  • Work with the Head of IT Service Management and Vendor & Commercial Manager to identify and deliver service improvements around financial, commercial and procurement processes and around the delivery of Request Fulfilment
  • Support the Head of IT Service Management with the creation of financial reports, managing invoices and assisting with financial processes

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL Framework - ITIL Certification desired
  • 2+ years within a similar role supporting procurement and request fulfilment processes.
  • Management of stakeholders and peers
  • Ability to write clear and concise business communications
  • Excellent verbal communications
  • Organisation and co-ordination
  • Natural problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to achieving goals
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good time keeping
  • Customer focused attitude
