Position - IT Infrastructure Design Specialist - EUC, Modern Workplace & Collaboration
Location - Rickmansworth (Hybrid)
Salary - £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits
We are working with one of the UK's leading contractors who help to construct, upgrade and maintain the country's buildings and infrastructure for both private and public-sector customers. As a main contractor they deliver complex construction projects across a broad range of sectors.
Currently going through an IT transformation they are seeking an IT Infrastructure Design Specialist who will focus on end user compute, modern workplace & collaboration technologies.
This role will own the strategy and roadmap for these areas and produce high quality infrastructure designs for new projects and improvements to existing infrastructure and solutions.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience at the design and implementation level with:
The Microsoft 365 technology stack i.e. Windows 10/11, SCCM, Intune, O365.
Desktop & Application Virtualisation (Citrix Cloud / Windows Virtual Desktop etc.)
Identity & Access Management i.e. Active Directory, MIM, PIM
Cloud Technology i.e. Azure, Azure Active Directory
Endpoint Security i.e. Windows Defender, Defender & Office Advanced Threat Protection
Appreciation of current end point device trends. Ability to convert construction enterprise needs to device strategies.
Collaboration Technology i.e. Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive etc
Strong understanding of industry standards for modern desktop management, end user compute and collaboration.
This role has a hybrid working policy and comes with a generous salary up to £70,000 plus car allowance & benefits.
