Job Title: ODI Data Engineer
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Office Requirement: Onsite, 2 days per week
Contract Duration: 12 months
Rate: 40-45 eur per hour
Job Description
- Conduct requirement analysis and assess technical feasibility.
- Develop integrations using ETL, SQL, and Java between source RDBMS and DWH.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for production issues and technical guidance.
- Collaborate closely with Operations engineers on interface deployments, production data analysis, and UAT debugging.
- Learn and implement new tools and technologies, such as Azure DevOps, GIT, and Ansible scripts.
- Assist in developing and implementing deployment automation strategies.
- Perform unit testing and system integration testing.
- Understand and prepare regulatory reports as required.
- Support audits by providing documentation, proofs, and code walkthroughs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance solutions following best practices for the tools utilized.
- Complete thorough testing cycles before deploying solutions.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines for solution implementation.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Use advanced SQL to assist stakeholders with audits and regulatory requests.
- Provide support to other team members using your experience and expertise as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with data integration using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling techniques, and entity-relationship diagrams.
- Experience working with Oracle RDBMS, including tables, views, indexing, tuning, and data types.
- Proficiency with Oracle SQL Developer or other SQL client tools.
- Knowledge of data analysis and cleansing techniques.
- Advanced SQL and PLSQL skills, including analytical functions.
- Experience in data transformation techniques.
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology.
- Basic knowledge and experience in Java are preferred.
- Agile working methodology.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and demonstrate ideas and solutions effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation.
- Knowledge of Linux OS and shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and Microsoft TFS/Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
