Your role is brand new to the business and will have full autonomy when it comes to the IT Category (£4+ million spend). Including developing an IT Procurement Strategy and leading the associated team.
You be responsible for managing relationships with strategic suppliers of IT services. Manage contracts to ensure the business is receiving the best value.
Location: Southampton (2/3 days working from home)
Salary: up to £50,000 + 21% pension + benefits!
Your role as IT Commercial & Supplier Manager
Lead all contract management, supplier management and procurement activity across the IT category
Develop an IT procurement and commercial contract management strategy
Work with budget holders to align long term plans with this
Contribute to Budget planning to ensure vendor roadmaps and contract renewal
Align and maintain the contract and procurements documentation
Manage key supplier relationships to develop and drive supplier performance
Develop and manage a collaboration framework with external vendors
To be successful as IT Commercial & Supplier Manager
Demonstrable knowledge and work experience in delivering IT supplier and contracts (5+ years)
Proven successful and significant experience of working at a strategic and senior level
Knowledge of Cloud (SaaS) contracts and pricing structures
An understanding of commercial drivers within the IT category
