Position: IT Change & Problem Manager

Location: Thame, Oxford

Salary: £50k + benefits

I have been retained exclusively by a leading hotel and hospitality brand, who are actively seeking an IT Change & Problem Manager. The IT Change & Problem Manager will take full responsibility for change and problem management processes across the organisation. They will own, manage and champion both processes ensuring the are implemented, consistently practiced and continuously improved to meet the needs of the business and according to ITIL standards.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Enterprise understanding of IT change and problem management with at least 3 years' experience in a related and dedicated ITSM role.
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certified (ITIL V3 Intermediate Lifecycle Certificates desired)
  • Significant experience of designing, implementing, managing and improving change and/or problem management processes in a complex, mission critical environment.
  • Previous exposure to implementing and configuring ITSM toolsets with a clear understanding of how tools should be used to support change and problem management process activities.
  • Strong influencing and persuasion skills with an inherent ability to demonstrate and sell the benefits of effective change and problem management and obtain buy in and support from all stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with an organised and methodical approach and a proven ability to build relationships with internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A fast learner with an inherent ability to understand complex technology solutions and communicate the impact of changes and problems in both IT and business terms.
  • A hands-on individual who is not afraid to roll up sleeves and get into the detail with excellent analytical skills with a commitment to quality standards.
