Job Title: IT Telecoms

Base: £80,000 - £85,000 + Bonus

Fully Remote

IT & Telecoms (Sourcing/Category/Procurement) is required to join a healthcare Industry to help ensure that the global workforce has; global mobility, wireless environment, can help develop or create and implement phone plans. As an IT and Telecom Sourcing Manager, you will work under the general direction of the Senior Director for IT Sourcing. You will support a global portfolio of Infrastructure and Telecom products and services. You will lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution.

Role's & Responsibility:

  • Collaborate and build partnerships with stakeholders to understand and deliver on requirements for information technology procurement requests
  • Manage the Technology Adoption Process for support of category demand, including intake, triage, and delivery of stakeholder requests
  • Manage the sourcing strategy for subscriptions, support, and maintenance within the category
  • Design and develop relevant RFP documents for projects and or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations
  • Drive and manage analytical efforts in areas specific to business function and industry focus
  • Lead solicitation efforts and quote requests for value-add reseller purchases
  • Lead the development of market insights to share Infrastructure & Telecom services best practices
  • Drive the telecom category strategy, in support of a global approach, contributing to the overall growth and delivery commitments
  • Support the infrastructure category strategy, contributing to overall international growth and delivery commitments
  • Participate in cost savings tracking and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on new initiatives including support of Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • Develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with stakeholders and vendors
  • Collaborate with internal departments and other entities to promote the best interest of AmerisourceBergen
  • Manage suppliers to include negotiation of business agreements and settling disputes and/or issues, as needed

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of technology procurement principles and procure-to-pay concepts
  • Understanding and experience using procurement tools such as Ariba
  • Solid project management skills with experience in organising, planning, and executing initiatives from vision through implementation
  • Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving to evaluate business problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of computers; Effective use of PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to deal with confrontational situations in a positive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organisation
