La Fosse are currently partnered with a client who are looking to hire an Infrastructure Team Lead into their division, on an initial 6 month contract.
The client themselves are based in London but this is a fully remote role, outside IR35 and paying £500-£600 per day.
This role will lead transformative, scaling efforts and drive efficiencies to deliver operational excellence. The role will be instrumental in defining best practice processes and ensuring operational stability and scale of the client’s European Infrastructure and Network estate. You will lead a team of Engineers responsible for 24x7x365 support and management of the global Infrastructure and Network estate, which hosts enterprise workloads deployed in on-prem and cloud environments.
Experience Needed:
- 8+ Years’ experience in a technical role with a minimum of 3+ years designing and supporting cloud platforms, with a minimum of 5 years working in a technical lead / team management role.
- Strong technical skills and experience in cloud & virtualization platforms – VMware, Azure &
- Containers (AKS)
- Strong technical experience with traditional and cloud native network technologies – LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Load-Balancing Technologies and Software-Defined Networking
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and the ability to drive and maintain a high standard of delivery and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to tasks and challenges
- Experience managing stakeholder relations across IT, Software Development and Product teams
- Excellent time and workload management skills and with the ability to implement and maintain resource management
