Security Systems Engineer – London (Hybrid) – Inside IR35

Our client is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to strengthen its security engineering capability within the Security team. Reporting to the Security Engineering Lead, this role focuses on embedding security into organisational projects, ensuring secure design principles are consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure security-by-design principles are implemented across all projects and systems.
• Develop and integrate security requirements and controls into project lifecycles.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and create actionable mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align security measures with business needs.
• Document and assess how new systems or interfaces impact the current security posture.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of security engineering principles, risk management, and best practices.
• Proven ability to design secure solutions that address both technical and business needs.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to managing security challenges and driving change.
