Information Security Portfolio Project Manager

Leading Asset Manager require an Information Security Project Manager to take ownership for the delivery of a portfolio of Information Security projects to support of the firms Security Strategy as defined by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Key responsibilities will be the day to day Project Management of assigned Information Security projects, therefore the candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of managing multiple concurrent complex deliveries.

The Security Project Manager will have the following experience:

  • Maintenance of portfolio level plans including associated resourcing plans
  • Delivered multiple security projects at one given time
  • Adhering to the firms project lifecycle including maintenance of detailed project plans, project charters, risks & issue registers, and regular reporting
  • Preparation of key project documentation
  • Running regular project and portfolio steering groups, presenting progress, risks and decision points
  • Extensive stakeholder management (primarily split between London and Denver)
  • Management of project costs (cash and P&L)
  • Liaise with 3rd party companies as guided
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • An understanding of the desktop, server, voice and network architecture
  • Prince 2 / PMP (Preferred)
  • ISO 27001: 2013 Lead Auditor / Implementer certification(s) preferred, but not essential
  • Must be able to demonstrate full project lifecycle experience, taking projects from the concept/inception phase right through to final delivery
  • Must be able to demonstrate risk management in past portfolio covering identification, assessment and ongoing risk management
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong management of external third-party vendors
  • Highly motivated with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Solution-focused and committed to high quality delivery and team performance
