Head of Technology Partner Management- Manchester- Permanent

My Manchester based client are looking for a Head of Technology Partner Management, who specialises within technology operations and IT vendor management.

In this role you will be responsible of supplier operations from initial engagement to SLA management, including sales, marketing, HR and finance. You will be required to understand and provide solutions to key IT challenges to help shape the technology vision and strategy for my client.

This is a highly delivery focused role and will therefore require a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As ensuring the delivery of services meets the agreed upon performance metrics will be key in providing the greatest return on investment and ensure company goals at met.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience within technology operations or management, indirect procurement, software or hardware sales, consulting, or vendor management role (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with enterprise technologies, including; Salesforce, Adobe, Zuora, Deloitte Digital, AWS, outsourcing and offshore gives a distinct advantage in this role.
  • Ability to build, manage, and maintain relationships internally and externally.
  • Familiar with functional processes which impact the need for and scope of technology products and services including technology strategy, technology road mapping and planning, financial budgeting and forecasting, procure to pay, demand management, and capacity planning.
  • Understanding of complex managed services agreements and operations including service desk, end user services, cloud, SaaS, hosting, data networks, voice networks, database management, or other technology infrastructure towers.
  • Experience managing or facilitating various stages in the sourcing process including strategic sourcing, RFP, negotiations, transition, and partner management.
