You will be joining one of the world's leading insurance firms playing a pivotal role within their design and governance function, specifically having full accountability for the design, development of their SACM function. Winning hearts and minds to promote user adoption will be crucial in this role.
Your role has autonomy to own and continually develop the CMDB ensuring it is fit for purpose, whilst your department is appropriately integrated with IT tooling. Your additional knowledge across the wider ITSM and ServiceNow will be critical in propelling the technology function forward.

Remuneration: up to £110,000 + 30% bonus + benefits
Your role as Head of SACM...
Design the org model required to support full implementation of SACM
Design, develops and implements Policies and Standards for both Asset and Config
Design, develops and implements solutions to meet customer requirements.
Design, develops and manages the build of a best-in-class data model within the CMDB
Monitor and reviews the execution of the SACM process at a high-level
Plans and manages the population of the CMDB
Develops a consistent method for responding to third party software audit requests.
In order to be successful as Head of SACM...
Ideally experienced in designing, developing, and delivering a SACM function from greenfield state.
Ability to promote user adoption for globally dispersed teams.
Ideally exposure to working with discovery tools (SCCM, Qualysis, vCenter etc)
Experience working with monitoring tools (Dynatrace)
Extensive knowledge with Service Management and SIAM
Experience of new ways of working (Agile, DevOps, Cloud)
Experience of operating on a global scale.
