Our client are a Digital Freight forwarder looking to simplify international trade, the business has seen massive growth within the 2 years they have been operating including impressive backing from some of Europe's leading venture capital firms.

We are actively seeking a proven and driven Head of Sales to expand their business development function and support the company's significant expansion plans for 2019.

You will be reporting to the CCO and co-founder whilst working cross-functionally with various teams within the business.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience specifically dealing with C-level at medium to large companies.
  • You will have significant experience building and leading a rapidly growing, high performing sales team.
  • Experience in investing in training & development for your team.
  • Extremely well organised.
  • Some understanding of international trade and supply chain is a bonus but not required.

During your first 12 months you will...

  • Help our client to triple the size of the business development team.
  • Work collaboratively with product and marketing to develop and refine how they position their business.
  • Run regular meetings across the sales team to align priorities, performance and tactical improvements.
  • Help structure the sales process; setting up appropriate systems for measuring and tracking sales performance with the support of your team.
  • Meet with decision makers at some of the most exciting, fast growing companies across the UK.
  • Work with our Customer Success and Key Accounts teams to ensure new customers are receiving the highest level of customer service.

REQUIREMENTS
