We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales lead to set up and scale a software start-up within a hugely successful, established construction business. The company have recently launched their new software to market and are looking for a Head of Sales and Strategy to develop and implement a long-term strategic plan in order to grow the business and increase market share. Our client are looking for a confident, driven and commercial aware individual who will thrive in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage and implement a strategic plan for the business

  • Provide leadership and direction to the business to ensure growth and increased market share

  • Implementing sales strategy across the business and encouraging a consultative sales culture

  • Developing and leading a growing team, including management of third party consultants

  • Ensure the team is empowered, motivated and able to achieve the strategic plan

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A track record of influencing and implementing strategies and targets for software or IT services

  • Experience of setting pricing strategies for software licensing

  • Experience of Saas products in the construction industry

  • Significant experience in pro-active, consultative sales and strategic business development

  • Experienced people manager with excellent coaching skills

  • Driven by results with a solid business focus and a record of achieving and exceeding targets

  • A keen commercial awareness of market trends and customer requirements
