Head of Product Marketing

My client, a premium Petcare brand, are looking for a Head of Product Marketing to join a new leadership team. As they are now considered one of the most trusted brands in their industry this role will be pivotal to support their CMO through their ambition growth plans as they continue to scale and increase their brand awareness. 

With P.E backing coupled with a real appetite from board-level down, this is an opportunity to join a forward looking, rapidly growing organization. As a top-level position this will offer the individual to establish a team, mature their current Proposition value and influence the digital strategy which will be central to the growth of the organization. 

The successful candidate will need to have experience in growing and improving of all Digital Capabilities and utilise internal and external data to help drive product innovation. Furthermore, take findings and implement them across existing platforms to enhance overall offering. Due to the nature of the industry, our client has a highly emotive relationship with its the customers, and experience in shaping and growing Brand appeal for existing and new clients will be of high importance. Alongside the growth in practices, over time there will be an expansion of the range of products and services, which will be the responsibility of the Head of Product Marketing to lead and own.

Head of Product Marketing will need to Create product-based insights to highlight new potential acquisition of market share. The ideal candidate will be a multi-faceted marketeer, be a facilitator between Product, Marketing and Commercial.

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic planning and budgeting - developing and budgeting a 12 month and 5-year strategic marketing plan to deliver on agreed short and long term strategic priorities.

Creation of new product lines - evaluate existing products and profitability through existing channels. Use the findings to devise a multi-channel strategy to effectively target key audiences and newly identified target market & consumers. 

Internal Stakeholder Management- Oversee internal communication of changing products to all internal customers

Product Experience Excellence - Having a clear understanding and proven track record in upkeeping great product experience for all in conjunction with experience in building world-class proposition team

Multi-faceted Marketeer - be a facilitator between Product, Marketing and Commercial with full responsibility for product marketing collateral.
