Head of Product- FitTech Start-Up

The company
La Fosse and I have partnered with this fast-growing FitTech company that VC and Angel investors back. They are creating a new category within consumer fitness that enhances and digitalises the weight training experience for gym members. Their product has been described as the "Strava of strength" and this is one of those rare opportunities to be part of something huge from the start.
Our client's platform encourages regular in-gym strength training by cleverly, monitoring, celebrating, and rewarding member participation and progress on the gym floor- creating a sense of belonging that helps build loyalty to a gym and helps the lifter stay motivated and consistent with their workouts.
This is a fully remote role, but they are looking for someone open to commuting to Leeds. They have regular meetups for the whole team to get together and have some face-to-face time too. They pride themselves as family-oriented and can be flexible to best suit your childcare needs.

The role
Our client combines data and research into their design and product development to deliver high-value, low-friction experiences that their users love. In this role you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to shape our product strategy, helping them to deliver growth strategies that improve metrics you identify as significant.
As head of product, you will be the champion of the customer and their end users, set the product roadmap and prioritisation. Design and manage experiments to achieve the growth and retention targets of the products and work with their development team to ensure the timely delivery of that roadmap.
