As Head of Operations you will be responsible for overseeing three functions: Finance & Planning, Legal and Research. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the office.

You should have enthusiasm and passion for orchestration, a strong product understanding and belief, have a good understanding of the product roadmap, and deep appreciation of finance and research. You'll be joining a team comprised of top-tier strategy managers. Our client has grown rapidly in less than two years, and has delivered over 60,000 orders across London, leading sustainability in the last-mile transportation industry.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Co-ordinating acrivities that affect operational decisions and business requirements
  • Responsible for planning of daily/weekly/monthly operations
  • Communicate across teams to ensure delivery teams are met
  • Plan, schedule and review workloads and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
  • Create a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting and auditing
  • Support finance analysts in budget forecasting, monthly reporting and financial goal setting
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales in determining pricing model, understanding market share and developing the product development and implementing M&E Metrics
  • Close collaboration and ideas exchange with other Team Leads

The right candidate will show:

  • An understanding of delivery/supply chain business
  • Experience in negotiating and working with suppliers
  • Strong problem solving and analyrical skills, with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations.
  • Great numeracy and analytical skills (Pivot tables, Tableau, Carto e.t.c)
  • Experience managing, mentoring and coaching
  • Great organisation skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Drive to achieve results witha focus on quality
  • Ability to engage and motivate others
  • Understanding of finance, budgeting, including profit and loss/balance sheet and cash-flow management
  • Understanding of general legal and regulatory documents
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion about learning, personal development and cross collaboration
