Role: Head of IT Service Delivery

A FTSE listed business based in Leicestershire are looking to appoint a Head of IT Service Delivery to be accountable for the delivery, management and improvement of IT support services to their geographically dispersed UK user community. This presents a real opportunity to take an established, insourced IT Service function (Applications and 1st / 2nd line), and drive real transformation in terms of Service Levels, Problem Management, Service Transition and proactivity.

Reporting in to the IT Director, the Head of IT Service Delivery will actively contribute to the creation of, and ultimate delivery the new IT strategy.

The Ideal Individual:

  • Track record in delivering IT services in a large-scale, geographically dispersed business, with particular focus on continual improvement and building high performing teams.
  • Can demonstrate a strong customer focus within a large and geographically dispersed organisation.
  • Significant related and progressive experience combining IT delivery, solutions implementation, operations management, team leadership.
  • Much experience of delivering IT Service Management and process management through a structured approach, in a corporate environment, including ITIL.
  • A first-rate communicator, with excellent presentation and engagement skills, who can rapidly absorb business issues and provide appropriate solutions
  • Knowledge of developing and managing SLAs, KPIs, and critical success factors for IT Services, processes, operations and work environments.
  • Knowledge of developing and managing continuous improvement programs.
  • Experience of creating and managing 3rd party service provision partnerships
  • Experience of interacting with IT projects and programmes to ensure an appropriate transition into the delivery of an IT service meeting business needs.
  • Track record of deployment in a complex, integrated environment (Mobile APPs and Desktop)
