Head of IT & AV

I am currently working with a central London based private members club to find a Head of IT & AV, responsible for the technical aspects (IT, AV, Applications) of clubs across Europe. With new openings and expansion happening already, this is an ideal time to join this exciting business to help plan and roll-out new sites, as well as ensuring that their existing sites support business needs.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring documentation is up to date in in line with company standards.
  • Coordination and management of upgrades, migrations, installations and changes at sites.
  • Responsible for the UK Data-centre, must have skills of implementing and maintaining a 3rd party DC.
  • Take responsibility for PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 compliance as well as general and local governance requirements.
  • Execution of company policies specifically in regard to data protection, information security, best practices.
  • Manage relationship between UK sites and Micronet and/or any relevant outsourced IT Support companies.
  • Management of vendors for direct purchases as well as where support is purchased; Ensuring the third- party suppliers meet or exceed contracts SLAs. Ensuring that SLAs are within company expectations.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of hospitality applications, interfaces and dependencies.
  • Making independent decisions on all issues relating to department and properly communicating needs/issues/solutions to UK Technical Director.
  • Oversee the regional IT & AV Department, including direct reports as well as operations staff on sites.
  • Travel to sites on a regular and as required basis, ensuring excellent relationships with GM's and senior staff.
  • Management of a team of 6 roaming field engineers for London area.
  • Management of the new sites design, specification, review and build process working with Head of IT & AV Development and Head of Applications and directly where required.

Required Skills/ Qualifications

  • ITIL or equivalent qualified.
  • Microsoft and iOS qualified.
  • Must be familiar with Opera v5, ORS, IP Phone systems and WiFi (Cisco, Motorola, Ruckus).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Opera, Oracle Simphony, Book4Time, Opera Sales & Catering, Gladstone MRM, Sage, SalesForce and Delphi a plus.
  • Must be technically competent with the ability to address company's computer, Internet, software and network security, AV, Cinema needs.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
