Reporting to the CIO, this is a brand-new role where you will have the autonomy to lead on user support, computer setup, maintenance and service, telecommunications, assisting with network and infrastructure maintenance, and all other technology needs. Applications will also fall under your remit, with MS dynamics being a key component of the environment.

You will land in a cloud-first, fast paced legal environment. Decision making is slick and there is clear appetite for new initiatives and service improvement.

Location: City of London

Salary: up to £80,000 + 15% bonus + private healthcare + pension + holiday.

Your role as Head of IT

  • Lead on projects in an operational capacity
  • Hands on senior leadership positions within a cloud-first organisation.
  • Manage the support activity delivered by key third-party providers.
  • Manage and coach all direct reports with regular check-ins to ensure performance is of a high standard
  • Continuously improve and enhance our service delivery.
  • Create and maintain best practice standards for IT operations.
  • Continuous technology improvement.

To be successful as Head of IT

  • Superior knowledge of commonly used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing & Finance
  • Familiarity with working in a legal environment
  • Solid technical background across infrastructure and EUC (Azure and 365 essential)
  • Experience of ITIL framework for Service Desk, Incident, Change, Configuration and Problem management
  • Working knowledge or experience in Cyber Security & Information Protection
