Duties and responsibilities
Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement:
* consulting with key stakeholders in the business, develop and execute the Systems and Business Intelligence Strategy and Roadmap, identifying key efficiencies, service enhancement and cost savings.
* Establish a culture of innovation, drawing from ideas across the business and externally to drive excellence in our processes, platforms and analytics.
* Leveraging the Business Analyst team as needed, work with stakeholders across the business to capture, assess and process both Business Intelligence/Management Information and Business Systems requirements.

Business Intelligence:

* Leveraging data from Business Process and Business Systems Platforms (amongst other inputs) deliver both key insights into current performance along with insights and analytics into the future.
* Provide expert technical advice, analysis and data interpretation to the leadership team.
* Establish and own a Management Information/Business Intelligence reporting catalogue and work with the business to understand and deliver requirements.
* Ensure the accuracy, integrity, availability and performance of BI data and dashboards.
* Review the current BI platform and Data Visualisation tools with the view of continuing development and introducing new technologies as required (including leveraging further integration with the ServiceNow platform)
DevOps: * Responsible for the continual development of business systems (such as NetSuite, ServiceNow, Zabbix, ScienceLogic, AEM, Alien Vault) along with robust support of these systems to ensure they continue to support the services delivered to both internal and external customers.
* Establish DevOps working practices, tooling and disciplines within the team and evolve as required.
* Ownership of Business Systems development, testing, deployment, support and monitoring. Driving innovation and automation as appropriate.
* Demand Management and Capacity Planning across Business Systems.
* Own, test and execute Disaster Recovery plans.

DevOps:

* Responsible for the continual development of business systems (such as NetSuite, ServiceNow, Zabbix, ScienceLogic, AEM, Alien Vault) along with robust support of these systems to ensure they continue to support the services delivered to both internal and external customers.

Specific capabilities required
* Proven track record of delivering large BI programmes which heavily influence strategic business decisions
* Excellent database warehouse development & implementation skills and experience (SQL Server 2016)
* Experience in building reports on SQL Server Reporting Service / SSRS
* Good development exposure in working with PowerBI

Hands-on experience managing deployments in cloud infrastructure/SaaS platforms * Proficiency with scripting/programming languages (PowerShell, Java Script, Python) and system programming in Linux & Windows * Experience in containerisation e.g. Docker * Exposure to ServiceNow and it's Reporting and Performance Analytics capabilities desirable * Exposure to other relational and non-relational databases are favourable * Experience working with, and developing, IT management and monitoring toolsets desirable * Significant experience in process automation and delivering cost savings and efficiencies. * ITIL understanding, ideally at least foundation certification
* Minimum of 8 years' experience working in DevOps or IT Operations Environment with specific responsibilities for Support and Management Information
* Demonstrable Line Management experience
* Experience of operating at a senior level with Stakeholders at Director and CxO level.
* Excellent verbal and written communication
