Hadoop Administrator / DBA - Initial 6-Month Contract

Our client is seeking a Hadoop Administrator to join them on an initial 6-month contract.

The ideal candidate will act as a key technical leader and utilise technical expertise (L3) and knowledge to define the existing Hadoop environment and procedures, as well as troubleshoot major critical service incidents.

The successful candidate will have expertise of;

  • L3 Database Administration
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices
  • Working with multiple versions of Hadoop
  • Database tuning and capacity management
  • Working with Teradata (desirable)
