A European market leading Data business require a Group Technical Solutions Director. This role is fully remote and candidates can be based anywhere in Europe.
Background:
The Group Technical Solutions Director will ensure that requirements, architecture and testing for all technical development projects are accurate, comprehensive, optimal and follow best practice frameworks. They will ensure the businesses customers have all the information and support they need to integrate their products. Lead a team of 15 across Europe. In addition, this person will need to constantly ensure that the technology estate is optimally structured for their current and future operations. Candidates must be a development and product specialist and have a strong track record of change and improving organisations in these disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Built, managed, and grown development teams
- Help drive operational excellence in the development lifecycle
- Serve as a driving force who leads and encourages the technology team to meet goals and new heights
- Managed teams across multiple countries
- Managed testing teams
- European leadership experience
- Possess a strong architecture understanding and managed architects previously
- Ensure digital products are delivered to customers with the highest quality and reliability
- Ensure all projects are not delayed or over budget due to poor requirements, design, or testing
- Through your team, optimise the technical landscape of all the businesses best of breed software applications & services
The Group Technical Solutions Director will lead 4 teams:
- Business Analysis Team
- Architecture Team
- Testing Team
- Strategic Data Integration Team
