Position: Global Service Desk Manager

Location: Colchester

Salary: £60,000 - 65,000 (plus bonus & benefits)

I am currently seeking a Global Service Desk Manager to join a global firm with around 4,500 employees across 29 offices in 20 countries, and annual revenue of c. £1.5 billion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and leading the IT Service Desk Team across all global locations (circa 25 FTE)
  • Develop and mature the service desk to deliver a proactive approach to ticket management and better utilise tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Maintain a best in class culture and ensure the function performs to agreed service levels.
  • Drive the strategy around self-service support and make recommendations on automation opportunities to ensure the desk is best in class
  • Implement and support change projects that impact the service desk
  • Maintaining team awareness of the broader business conditions and Technology strategy
  • Liaising with the IT Service Managers (ITSM) and other areas of IT Service Delivery to ensure the appropriate level of support is delivered to the region
