Global Head of Marketing (Leadership Hire)
Will consider remote working, Preference would be based in Berlin / Germany countrywide or London / UK wide
Our Global Client, a market leader in the B2C App Development space with a range of technology solutions and enterprise productivity apps, are currently looking for an experienced Marketing Leader to join their team as Global Head of Marketing. This professional will lead the execution of the full marketing strategy across the areas of Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Content Marketing, and Brand Communications. You will lead the organisations marketing efforts at a pivotal time when the company are transitioning to new platforms and business models as they grow.
We are looking for an experienced marketeer and Leader who can confidently work across all of the marketing disciplines and can shape and execute on an ambitious marketing strategy allowing for scaled product suites to achieve their full potential. You would have the support of specialist marketing professionals for many of these initiatives, but this role will be a mixed blend of strategic and execution elements to the role and as the Global Head of Marketing you would be expected to commit to and deliver tangible results.
The successful candidate will have a varied marketing background covering Marketing & Ops Leadership, Performance Marketing, Content & SEO, Product Marketing and some areas of Brand & Comms pieces with a broad understanding of the different components that make up a successful marketing function. You will also need to have a track record with Global or International teams / marketing initiatives. Some of the key elements we are looking for in candidates for this position would be;
Strong Marketing Leadership background, with a good blend of shaping strategy and execution of marketing consumer products.
Ideally led marketing teams of between a range of 10 to 15 people, with teams based in more than one country.
Strong blend of Marketing understanding and background, including a strong knowledge around scaled Performance & Growth Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content and SEO, Product Marketing and GTM strategy as well as a good understanding of high level Branding & Communication areas.
Proven track record of leading marketing efforts in global / international tech companies.
Successful experience in managing global marketing initiatives.
Successful experience in leading growth-focused teams and practices.
Strategic mindset but execution focused; strong results orientation.
Entrepreneurial skills and strong business acumen acquired in a technology company: knowledge of the software industry, business models, value creation, go-to market strategies, UA, BD, etc.
Extensive experience in the marketing of consumer software products, including product and performance marketing.
Understands all of the elements of marketing from first principles and can use this knowledge to effectively lead a marketing team.
Strong positioning, branding, or storytelling ability.
Early adopter and a fast learner.
Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
Adaptable in an agile market, able to deliver in ambiguous environments.
