My client, a leading Insurance broker based in the city, are looking for a Global head of IT Operations and Service Management.
This position is a key part of the service management and operations function to ensure the operational performance and service improvement of my client.
The successful candidate will be a central point for escalation, keeping both the staff and the vendors who are part of Operations running and engaged. It is also essential that the successful candidate has extensive experience operating within a SIAM managing model.
It is an exciting opportunity in the beginning of a transformation journey; this role is part of the Service and Operations leadership team and will be responsible for selecting and executing the next iteration of the operating model.
The successful candidate will have experience in:
- Service Introduction
- Change Management
- Incident Management (including Major Incident management)
- Problem Management
- Release management
- Operational Risk Register
- Disaster Recovery
- Operational Management of service providers (Managed Services, Print, storage etc.)
- IT Portfolio Management
- Changes to contract services
- Point of escalation and owner of Escalation charter
- Group Service Delivery Management
- Group Service desk
- Management of organisations of 30 plus people
- Minimum ITIL V3 Manager
