GDPR Technical Business Analyst

Innovative Retailer require a Technical Business Analyst with strong project management experience and knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to provide visibility into existing business processes, technical activities and responsibilities required to ensure compliance for the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulations in 2018.

The GDPR Technical Business Analyst will have the following experience:

  • Project Management experience within an Information Governance, Data Protection and regulatory change role
  • Understand compliance standards and translate them into business and data management requirements in the form of user stories/functional specifications or business change documentation
  • Created Digital mappings of existing business processes
  • Strong technical and security knowledge in GDPR related areas: Encryption, cloud (AWS and Azure), DevOps, SecOps & Threat Modelling
  • Strong technical and security skills are required, namely the ability to transform analog data (i.e notes, whiteboard diagrams, emails) into hyperlinked digital artefacts (i.e Visio/Dot-lang diagrams, Confluence pages, JIRA issues, or JIRA workflows)
  • Experience with technically driven PIAs and (ideally) in Threat Modelling
  • Strong development and scripting capabilities (custom Jira workflows, data transformation, API consumption)
  • Web development experience, namely on UI changes to reflect GDPR requirements
  • Support the identification of business processes and systems that relate to personal data and re deemed in-cope of GDPR (in UK, Guernsey, France, Spain, and Germany)
  • Significant practical experience of delivering a number of large cross-organisational projects or programme
