GDPR Specialist

La Fosse Associates is partnering exclusively with a consultancy to deliver a unique GDPR service as part of a data driven transformations to a portfolio of Blue Chip clients across the globe. La Fosse Associates are building a 'Virtual Bench', therefore candidates must be comfortable working in fast paced and ever-changing client environments.

The ideal candidate will have the following relevant experience.

  • Previous, hands on experience guiding clients through GDPR compliance, as well as extensive Data Protection experience (including EU Data Protection Directive/Act 1995/1998)
  • Previous experience within an IT transformation environment, with a holistic, business wide approach and understanding of GDPR
  • A focus on assessment as the principal skill, but able to deliver a complete compliance program, end to end, throughout the full data lifecycle
  • Comfortable with project management and project management style activities in relation to GDPR or high-profile compliance projects
  • Able to travel internationally as required by a client
  • Able to work comfortably in reactive, multi-matrix environments, working with a variety of maturity estates and differing regulations
  • Able to deliver GDPR compliance at all levels within a business
  • Great stakeholder management skills, able to highlight gaps and remediation plans to C Level executives within a client's business, articulating, scope and change to be delivered
  • Comfortable using a lifecycle management toolset and process specific to this consultancy
  • Comfortable working with internal technology teams and with a centralised PMO
  • Willing to invest in personal learning and development of Data protection knowledge
