About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for a leading pharmaceutical company based near Milan. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of a high-impact project, with the ultimate goal of enhancing manufacturing processes, improving compliance, and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
– Project Leadership: Take full ownership of the MES implementation project, ensuring it aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and timelines.
– Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including technical teams, business users, and third-party vendors.
– Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, track progress, and ensure milestones are met within the defined scope.
– Risk Management: Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues as they arise.
– Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the MES solution.
– Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to relevant GxP, FDA, and EU regulations.
Requirements
– Proven Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of IT project management experience, with a strong background in MES implementations within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
– Technical Expertise: Familiarity with MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Werum PAS-X, Emerson Syncade) and their integration with ERP and shop floor systems.
– Project Methodologies: Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
– Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of GxP, FDA, and other relevant pharma regulations.
– Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
