First Line/Helpdesk Support - Permanent - West Yorkshire

Our West Yorkshire based client is currently looking for a First Line/Helpdesk Support to join their expanding business on a permanent basis. The IT Systems Administrator will provide First Line/Help Desk support to all business functions and end users and provide high-quality assistance.

Role overview:

  • Provide First Line/Help Desk Support
  • Install and configure computer systems
  • Diagnose hardware and software faults
  • Solve Technical and application issues
  • General system admin
  • Provide high-quality support and maintain a confident manner
  • Day to day operational support
  • Project administration
  • Support the IT/Systems team and Head of IT
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Supporting the rollout of new applications

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Windows 7/8/10
  • Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN technologies, windows networking infrastructure, DNS/DHCP)
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Network security and Anti-Virus platforms
  • Microsoft Office 365

Ideal Qualifications:

  • VMware VCP
  • MCITP
  • Windows 7/8/10
  • MTA: SQL Server
  • MCSA: SQL - course 462
  • MCSE: Server Infrastructure
  • MCDSA

Extra Information:

The salary is negotiable and dependent on experience
