Enterprise Data Architect - Sanctions
An Enterprise Data Architect is required to join an exciting new programme, focused on promoting global financial integrity by increasing the effectiveness of sanctions compliance. The organisation are creating a platform as an intermediate within the financial services sector and in so doing, will enhance standards of sanctions compliance around the world.
Deliverables:
Produce an enterprise data model as the central data repository
Work with the integration layer team and product owners to translate business needs into data architectural requirements and designs
Data profiling and source system analysis to present clear insights and support end use of the data.
Make recommendations to ensure compliance regarding data privacy and governance (i.e. classification of important, privacy, and critical data objects)
Work with enterprise and security architects, 3rd party solution architects and designers to provide assurance, through:
Support the selection of appropriate data base technologies
Review and agree proposed data architectural designs
Work with the delivery partner, enterprise and security architects and Test Manager to:
Provide detailed data architectural design and technical requirements/sheets to delivery partner as required
Work with the scrum teams and product owners to resolve development blockers
Review and provide collaborative input and support on the development and test environments to be built
In collaboration with the lead Data architect, define and provide data architecture guidelines, data standards, and a metadata management
Present data model and architectural designs for approval via the design authority forum.
Key skills and experience:
Experience developing data architectures and data models supporting real time data pipelines
Implementing data pipelines for data driven business decision supported by ML and NLP
Data architecture across the full product development lifecycle with exposure to a wide array of technologies, methodologies, and business environments
Data streaming (i.e. Kafka) technology, SQL (i.e. PostgreSQL) and non-SQL database (i.e. CouchDB) technology which supports processing stream data, record keeping, and reporting
Sanctions, payments and AML experience.
