Enterprise Architect

La Fosse are currently exclusively partnering with the Police ICT Company on a campaign of hiring aiming to transform the organisation and increase their ability to enable the UK Police forces' technology functions across the country. This organisation's objective is to help drive efficiency and repeatability across the national Police forces, the role of Enterprise Architect will be key to driving the design and delivery of IT Architecture for not only a single police force but the police as a whole.

This is a brand-new role and as an Enterprise Architect, you will be engaging directly with numerous national police forces and must be comfortable working within large matrix organisation. The successful candidate will be able to adapt facilitating collaboration between stakeholders at various levels who share a common objective.

Skills/Attributes Required

  • Experience designing and delivering Enterprise Architecture within a large matrix organisation
  • Strong understanding of Architecture principles and processes
  • Knowledge and exposure to Cloud migrations and transformations (Azure or AWS preferred)
  • Broad Architecture experience across Data, Technology, Business and Applications
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging and influencing Senior stakeholders up to CxO level

Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver and implement Enterprise Architecture within Police ICT Company
  • Advise in the design and evaluation of technology roadmaps to ensure they are in line with the business' long-term objectives
  • Ensure Solution Architects are delivering in conformance with Enterprise Architecture and review solutions against EA objectives and challenges.
  • Act as Enterprise Architecture SME and be confident designing recommended strategies, best practices, tools and methodologies
  • Review and interpret detailed and complex business requirements and manage business stakeholder expectations
  • Ensure alignment with agreed overall objectives for ICT across the police
  • Engage and collaborate frequently with senior stakeholders across IT and the wider business, including conducting meetings with police forces and partners for each project.
