About Futureproof

futureproof is an award-winning technology training company that launches and develops the tech superstars of the future. Students are trained in software development and technology fundamentals before undertaking a two-year placement with clients such as Babylon Health, OVO Energy and Coca Cola.

futureproof was launched in 2019 to address two key issues: the lack of skilled junior talent within software engineering and the lack of diversity within the tech industry. futureproof is free for students, because we believe in ability, not just the ability to pay.

Role Description

Do you want to help nurture and grow the UK's leading community of diverse, talented early stage tech talent? Do you want to help some of the most forward thinking tech teams meet their

objectives? Do you want to join a purpose driven team that wants to drive change around who builds the technology of the future?

Your role will be to execute one of the key areas of our business, ensuring both associate and client success by supporting them to get the most out of the service we provide.

You'll be responsible for

* Associate Engagement: Provide on going support to associates whilst they are on their placements including; conduct monthly 121s and appraisals to support their personal development, be the first point of contact for associate queries to help resolve any issues in a timely manner, and ensure associates are onboarded currently.

* Client Engagement: Manage the success of a portfolio of cross industry clients by; conduct monthly meetings with associate's managers and quarterly business reviews, identify further opportunities for growth within clients, facilitate opportunities for networking among clients, maintain regular feedback cycle between clients and commercial team.

* Student Engagement: Drive career readiness programme for students; including interview coaching and profile preparation.

Skills and experience

The Engagement Manager requirements include:

* Ability to establish, build, and maintain strong relationships

* A passion for junior tech talent

* Ability to adapt style for client management vs associate management

* A genuine interest in customer satisfaction and success

* Comfortable to execute ideas, make mistakes, and bounce back

* Excited by an environment where you can present new ideas and run with them

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to prioritise, work well under pressure and multi task effectively

* Resilient and able to effectively deliver in a fast paced work environment

* Good analytical and problem solving skills
