Ecommerce Manager - FMCG - £65,000 - London

Are you a talented Ecommerce professional looking for an incredible opportunity to join an innovative start-up food company who are back by a major multi-national food company? La Fosse Associates are currently partnering with this business to recruit for a forward thinking and progressive Ecommerce Manager to join their growing business.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the day to day operation of the UK Ecommerce website. You will be responsible for the commercial operation, pricing & promotional strategy, site merchandising and analytics. You will be accountable for working with the relevant web agencies on site development and enhancements creating a best in class customer shopping experience. You will directly contribute to the success of the UK business and the global digital team.

You will gain full responsibility of (but not limited to):

  • Supporting on the delivery of the online vision by focusing on sales and margin of the business.
  • Supporting the development of the online financial plan and budget.
  • Operating the online trading strategy optimising conversion and AOV through effective merchandising.
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on web merchandising KPIs.
  • Developing data analytics and customer insights to drive sales conversions.
  • Developing and communicating the strategy and performance of the business to leadership and executive team.
  • Driving execution of product content creation enhancing the online customer experience.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Ecommerce.
  • Experience working within direct to consumer businesses
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to independently deal with relevant tools (e.g. excel & other internal tools) to measure performance, determine improvements and drive insights from data
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrable and proven results with key decision makers including senior management and executives is required
  • Willingness to work well in a team, collaboratively partnering with functional teams e.g. finance, marketing and supply chain

The Company

They are a start-up direct to consumer food business who are backed by a multi-national food company based in Central London. The business is due to launch in the UK in early 2020 after being successful in Asia and the USA. The company offer a flexible working environment as well as on the job training. You will report directly into the Managing Director for the UK business.

Salary and Benefits

The Salary on offer for this role Ecommerce Manager role is £50,000 - £65,000 plus exceptional benefits and unrivalled career progression.
