.NET Engineer - Contract - London (remote) - £600-650

(C#, .NET Core, Microservices, Azure, Service Bus, CI/CD, Kubernetes)

Our leading Engineering client are looking for a full-stack .NET/Azure Developer to join them for an initial 6-month contract. You will be joining the Hertfordshire based company to work as part of the development team building a systems integration solution which will improve business performance.

We are searching for someone who has previous experience leading technically in an Agile development team and is proficient with the following technologies:

Contractor experience required:

  • Experience with c#, .NET Core, and microservice architecture
  • Extensive experience in technical architecture and design
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Cosmos DB
  • Experience developing Microservices using common design patterns
  • Experience designing and delivering highly available, reliable, scalable and maintainable systems
  • Good understanding of Event Driven architecture
  • Experience leading software engineers in delivering large, complex projects
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Experience with functional and non-functional testing (stress, load)
  • knowledge and experience of version control such as GIT, CI/CD pipelines and (Desirable to have) infrastructure as code
  • a good understanding of computing fundamentals (e.g., logic, data structures, algorithms, low-level architecture, networks stack) along with strong software design skills, including OO
  • knowledge and experience of cloud native computing with Azure or AWS e.g., using service bus or SQS, azure functions or AWS lambdas, and SignalR.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Kubernetes AKS or EKS.
  • (Desirable to have) experience developing distributed systems
  • Prepare sprints by writing technical user stories shaping them with the dev team and BA running estimation sessions.
