Position: Director Portfolio and Programmes

Location: London

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + Strong Benefits Package

Director of Portfolio and Programmes required to a newly formed Shared Digital Senior Leadership team. You will have direct responsibility for the leadership and management of Portfolio and Programme Management as part of an acquisition with 3 companies becoming 1. You will be responsible for leading the development of a portfolio of initiatives and be able to act as a Programme Director on key strategic initiatives as well as working with Senior Management within the organisation, directing the creation or review of information systems strategy to support strategic requirements.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement up to CxO Level ad ensure the appropriate level of governance and structure is present and being an ambassador for AGILE delivery and fostering a culture of Innovation within the department as well as keeping abreadst of new and emerging technologies that could drive future value for the business.

Ideal candidate:

  • Background in working in large scale Corporate environments is essential
  • Proven track record of operating as a Programme Director or Portfolio Director is essential
  • Track record of delivering complex sytems integration and business change is essential
  • Proven line management of a team of Project and Programme Managers is essential (experience in running Product teams is also desirable)
  • Budget responsibility is essential
  • Strong track record of managing 3rd part vendors is essential
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills working with the 'C' suite.
