Digital Project Manager

Do you have experience in the management and delivery of digital projects both small and large?

Our client is looking for a Digital Project Manager - Working in a supportive, collaborative, fast-scaling team, you will work with business teams to transform business/partner needs into effective and sustainable digital solutions.

You'll be well versed in digital delivery methods, with a good technical understanding of delivering top-class digital solutions, be a process enthusiast at heart, with good people management skills.

The delivery is managed and supported by a combination of Agile, Waterfall and Kanban principles. Your experience should enable you to successfully manage the delivery of quick turn-around on projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver, shape and manage small to medium size projects for internal business clients and brand partners.

  • Handle multiple concurrent activities/projects - through effective management of backlog items, co-management of sprints, impact and challenges.

  • Juggling multiple deadlines concurrently and aligning the delivery teams on expected work and timelines.

  • Manage day-to-day communication between partners, teams and senior management.

  • Work with colleagues to manage key project articles: project plans and timeline, budgets, utilisation reports, SoW, sprint, risk and issue logs.

  • Evaluate, coordinate and align with the team to assure quality and approach is managed to acceptance criteria and project expectations.

  • Work closely with SM and BA to turn clients' requirements into detailed stories, scopes of work, and a brief where appropriate.

  • Be a source of support for team members, responsible for ensuring the correct end to end process is followed and team members are engaged in solutions.

  • Using your experience in collaborative working to unite the team in working sessions, retrospective and sprint planning.

  • Take a calm, practical and measured approach to resolving issues and clearing blockers.

Qualifications

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Project management experience, managing a mixture of low-high project budgets and multiple project workstreams.

  • A champion and awareness of standard methodologies in digital delivery: UX, design, data and development to enable best in class products.

  • Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.

  • Experienced in delivering in an Agile or Scrum environment

  • Experience in delivering deadline driven activities in Waterfall.

  • Experienced in managing projects from start to completion within JIRA.

  • Experience of managing change including timeline, scope and resource management.

  • Client facing and presentation building skills - ability to articulate project status

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple time sensitive tasks across multiple service teams.

  • Ability to understand and articulate technical and UX issues and dependencies. You are comfortable with data/infrastructure/back-end web technologies.

  • Possess commercial savvy, can make decisions based on commercial impact.
