Role: Digital Programme Manager

Salary: £90,000 - £120,000

Location: Central London

The role will cover all client facing areas of the our business. One of our key strategic aims is to differentiate our services through tech enablement and to be seen as the leading such firm within our sector. We want to provide services to all of our clients in a way that reflects current methods of working and to make it easier for clients and our colleagues to work with each other.

Reporting will be direct to the firm's management team with a business plan agreed with the group transformation programme, and our CEO and other key stakeholders.

The role will include:

  • Understanding the firms current position in terms of service delivery and business process supporting this on a department by department basis;
  • Working with the group transformation programme to help bring digital technology to standardise and automate processes and, in particular, build digital mechanisms for interaction with clients;
  • Utilise a client portal to drive delivery of information and communication with our clients;
  • Work with the wider group to utilise resources and ideas and ensure that as many as our collective clients as possible benefit from the agreed initiatives.

The teams you work with will be multi-disciplinary. As well as individuals being drawn from the various client service teams you will also work with members of the technology programme team and will be supported by the firm's leadership team in delivering the agreed plans. The role will report to members of the firm's management team with a dotted line to the transformation programme leadership.

It will be a requirement of the role that the successful candidate will have:

  • Delivered digital transformation in a professional services firm is highly desirable
  • Commercial acumen to ensure that projects deliver quantifiable returns; is essential
  • An understanding of client requirements and can demonstrate how these have been satisfied and benefits identified; is essential
  • Communication skills to enthuse others about the actions being taken;
  • Led, and successfully delivered, projects across multiple different service lines;
  • The ability to manage individuals from multiple backgrounds;
  • Experience of understanding, documenting and standardising business processes; and
  • Previously managed significant projects.

It would be preferable for a candidate to have:

  • The ability to drive internal and external communications (supported by our marketing department) about the way we are transforming and how this benefits us and our clients;
  • Experience of the accounting and tax services sector specifically;
  • To have been involved in the successful roll out of a client portal;
  • Business analysis or project management qualifications; and
  • Worked with multiple stakeholders at different levels across a group environment.
