We have partnered with the UK's leading developer and manager of retirement communities, providing high quality home to exacting specifications. As of November 2021, they operate over 475 developments across the UK for more than 20,000 people. They are looking for an experience digital marketer to join their team as a Digital Content and Customer Experience Manager for a 9-month maternity cover FTC.
As Digital Content and Customer Experience Manager, you will drive the Group's Content and SEO strategy, social media presence and reputation management, and marketing automation as well as improving and optimising the company's website usability, design and content to increase lead conversions and improved user experience through A/B testing, segmentation and personalisation.
Key responsibilities:
Execute and manage content development strategies across all owned channels - email, web, social media, blogs, print and SEO.
Manage a small digital marketing team, setting clear 'SMART' objectives for the team and provide support and development through regular 1:1 meetings. dotted lines into regional marketing teams.
Work closely with the SEO agency to continuously develop and implement the SEO and Content strategy.
Work closely with the internal digital team and external agencies to monitor all social activity across all platforms, social listening and community management.
Manage the email agency to develop and execute an Email re-engagement strategy and marketing automation to grow the active database.
Actively engage and collaboratively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key skills:
Excellent knowledge of the full Digital Marketing mix, including website customer eperience, search and content marketing.
Proficient in user and keyword research tools, such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, Long tail Pro, Ahrefs, Wordstream, to name a few
Proven ability to drive a superior digital experience, optimise online performance and deliver business improvements.
A demonstrable portfolio of work displaying strong writing experience across multiple channels, including website, social media and consumer emails.
Experience leading and managing a small team.
Good understanding of content management systems (CMS) preferably Sitecore.
To be successful as Digital Content and Customer Experience Manager, you must have a meticulous eye for detail and be an accuate proof-reader. You must be an expert in communications with the ability to present to and manage senior stakeholders across the business.
You will be innovative and creative, whilst also being solutions focused, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
