About the Role

A small, but leading UK bank is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of integration and API-related projects. This role will focus on managing technical and business change, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic goals and governance frameworks. Acting as a bridge between business and IT, the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the adoption of best practices, enhancing team performance, and delivering high-quality integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Platform Lead to define and deliver the Integration product roadmap
  • Manage and coordinate the technical delivery of API and integration features
  • Ensure robust governance, reporting, and risk management across all integration projects
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and support the team in delivering software from concept to release
  • Partner with key business and IT stakeholders to realise the benefits of integration initiatives.
  • Ensure seamless business and technical change delivery, including business and technical readiness.
  • Drive a high-performance team culture, identifying and removing blockers to delivery.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Proven experience in delivering integration and API projects within financial services – Ideally in a challenger of fintech environment
  • Strong knowledge of integration technologies such as REST APIs, Open API specifications, Java, Kong
  • Experience delivering business and IT change with multiple complex, high-impact workstreams
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and supporting teams in Agile adoption
  • Strong experience managing stakeholders, third-party vendors, and suppliers
  • Ability to remove blockers, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate informed decision-making
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other tools for product and requirements management
