Job Title: Delivery Manager

Salary: £75,000

Location: Holborn - Hybrid

Delivery Manager is required to join a media and entertainment groups. The Delivery Manager will be focused on the delivery of our Technology delivery roadmap. You will be responsible for handling significant initiatives within our product roadmap, working with Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance colleagues and key partners to shape and deliver projects in the Technology portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of product development initiatives/projects
  • Identify and own resolution of delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate
  • Communicate plans and progress, celebrating success and learning from failures
  • Lead the project transition into support to ensure acceptable training, knowledge transfer and operational readiness
  • Champion outstanding delivery processes, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Track record of successfully delivering high-profile Technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment, embracing appropriate delivery methods, scrum, Kanban, hybrid etc
  • Diligent self-starter with the ability to summarise depending on audience
  • Capable of keeping projects on track by discovering solutions to problems; highly organised with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to bring teams together to provide direction, and maintain focus and momentum
  • Equally comfortable working with business and technical teams; building strong relationships across Technology and with Business Stakeholders
  • Ability to gather and use insight to spot trends and identify dependencies to reduce delivery risk and optimise team performance
  • Strong negotiation skills: able to prioritise, negotiate trade-offs and make recommendations
  • Knows how and where to rely on gut instinct vs. making fact-based decisions to quickly remove blockers
  • Adaptable in the face of changing demands and comfortable working with ambiguity; resilient
  • Willingness to collaborate and coach; ability to motivate, educate and influence
