We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to ensure the effective delivery of complex, high-risk products and services in a public sector organisation.
Work closely with business area(s) to ensure the effective delivery of complex, high-risk products and services.
Use appropriate waterfall and agile delivery methodologies, learning and iterating frequently.
Be capable of building long standing, trust-based stakeholder relationships and engaging with senior stakeholders on a range of programme and delivery management activities.
Build and matrix manage multidisciplinary teams made up of business analysts, services designers, business architects and test professions, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well.
Work with service owners and products owners to define the roadmap and translate this into an achievable backlog.
Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process, prioritising work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team, and ensuring the team remains focused on those priorities.
Work with technical leads and functional leads to drive timely delivery of quality solutions.
Identify obstacles related to workstream deliverables and work closely with other team members to resolve them in-time without impacting the delivery schedule.
Ensure workstream deliverables meet customer standards, acting as a champion for user needs and quality standards.
