Position: Delivery Director

Location: Central London

Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + Benefits

Delivery Director required to join a Global Marketing & Advertising organisation that is undergoing a significant Business Transformation. You will be responsible for reporting into the MD and having full accountability for the successful delivery of all IT, Digital and Business Change initiatives.

I am looking for someone that is capability of driving continuous improvement throughout the delivery team and ensure the organisation transition from a WATERFALL environment to a more AGILE and Product led delivery mechanism. It is essential that you have led a delivery team of 20+ including Programme Managers, Project Managers, BA's and AGILE deliver teams. You will act as a Programme Director for key strategic initiatives and ensure the overall direction, planning, coordination, implementation, execution, control, accounting and completion is within the agreed governance model. You will need to be able to demonstrate working in a complex supplier landscape with onshore, offshore and 3rd party providers to implement solutions.

Ideal candidate:

  • Background in working in a Global Marketing and Advertising, Loyalty, Marketing, Data, Consumer Insight organisations is highly desirable (may consider other large scale organisations)
  • Background operating as a Programme Director or Delivery Director is essential
  • Proven track record of leading a team of 20 + is essential (including Head of Projects, Agile Delivery Team and PMO Team)
  • Track record of transitioning from WATERFALL environment to AGILE environment is essential
  • Experience in installing Product Management as a core capability within the organisation is essential
  • Client facing experience is essential
  • Budget £20M +
  • EMEA / Global experience is essential
  • Experience working in both AGILE & Waterfall methodologies is essential
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills working with the 'C' suite.
