Data Engineer | London with WFH flexibility | 65-75k + package incl. bonus
I'm working with a global FMCG company, home to many of the world's most recognized food, confectionary and pet brands. The company is famous for its employee care and great career progression opportunities. This is an exciting time to join their data engineering function, to be part of a talented & bright team that delivers results across the company. They are looking for a permanent data engineer to utilize their innovative tech stack, with Neo4J experience for an ongoing crucial project.
To deliver on their ambitions, they want to grow the Data Solutions team with Engineering talent to drive multiple initiatives and lead the change in data and pet-centric thinking across the entire business by developing products in the Data Platform. These products include engineering initiatives such as building and optimizing graph capabilities across pet and pet owner attributes.
This role reports to the Data Engineering Tech Lead and sits on the Data Solutions team within the Global Data & Analytics team, taking technical ownership and accountability for some of our most sophisticated engineering projects.
We looking for:
Significant experience and expertise with using graph technology, preferably Neo4j
Experience working with cloud/big data technologies, e.g. Spark
Good Knowledge and understanding of PySpark, Python and/or SQL
Drives best development practices across multiple products and team members
Introduces and encourages innovation - by suggesting ideas, introducing new technologies/practices and leading technical workshops
Able to convey messages on technical subjects to a range of stakeholders

Leading by example with hands on technical development to a high standard
Collaborating with cross functional product squads to deliver technical excellence
Leading and inspiring innovation using graph technology
