Role: Data Architect

Location: Nottingham (remote working allowed but will need some time on site for handover)

Duration: 3 months initial

Rates: £600-650/day (inside IR35)

Start Date: ASAP

Our Nottingham based client is currently looking for a Data Architect to join them on an initial 3 month contract with the strong likelihood for extension. This role can be worked remotely but will need some time at the client site for handover or any meetings (this will not be regular). As part of a global team that delivers Cloud based Data and Analytics Enterprise solutions to the business, the role will be focused on Metadata Management, Reference Data Management and Data Quality Management and you will work with various IT and business stakeholders in a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Data Architecture and Data Management strategy and roadmap, with global alignment
  • Lead Pre-Project Data Scoping, Outline Data Architecture and Data Governance Assessments
  • Lead Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Modelling
  • Lead Metadata Management, Reference Data Management and Data Quality Management
  • Lead Data Privacy and Data Governance Awareness
  • Oversee data architecture and data management deliverables to ensure efficient and effective ways of working
  • Triage new data requirements, provide impact assessments and data team estimates

Essential Experience:

  • Experience leading data architecture and data management activity
  • Experience working in an analytics environment
  • Excellent understanding of generic/abstract data modelling approaches
  • Excellent understanding of metadata and reference data management concepts
  • Experience analysing data from a quality and integrity perspective
  • Data protection, security and governance awareness
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Able to collaborate globally with a variety of technical and business stakeholders
