D365 Programme Manager

Job Summary

The Technical Lead will be responsible for spearheading the technical aspects of our D365 implementation project. This role involves overseeing the development, customization, and integration of D365 solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of D365 applications, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing complex technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of D365 solutions.
• Customize and configure D365 modules to align with the agency’s housing programs and services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and key stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and government regulations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and deployment guides.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to D365 applications in a timely manner.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with government standards across all D365 implementations.
• Stay current with the latest D365 features and updates, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on D365.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
• Strong proficiency in D365 modules, including but not limited to Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, and Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of D365 customization, configuration, and integration.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Azure services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of government regulations and compliance requirements related to data security and privacy.

Preferred Qualifications

• D365 certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git).
• Previous experience working with public sector organizations.
