Cyber Security Project Manager

Global media firm require a Cyber Security PM to work with the Programme team you will deliver Device & Network Hygiene, Business Impact Assessment and Sophos XDR projects.

The successful candidate will have delivered Cyber Security Projects across: Network Security, Access Control, Vulnerability Management, Device and Network Hardening methods and general infrastructure.

The role will work to actively promote adoption and use of such methodologies and ensure security requirements are understood, embedded and effectively managed throughout the project delivery life cycle.

The role requires someone to have a strong experience of the end-to-end delivery of Cyber Security projects in a multi-workstream programme as the programme is large and our projects complex, with many interdependencies across a number of stakeholder teams and functions.

The Cyber Security PM will have the following experience:

  • Cyber Security Project Delivery Experience within a Global Cyber Security Programme
  • Delivered Cyber Security Projects across: Network Security, Access Control, Vulnerability Management, Device and Network Hardening methods and general infrastructure.
  • Experience delivering Cyber Security Controls, (Hardware & Software) Implementations, EDR deployments and 3rd party delivered projects.
    • Implementation of Security Controls for both hardware and software e.g. Device Hardening, Host based firewalls, Web filtering
    • Auditing, coverage and compliance approaches, definition and delivery
    • Product and tools selection and implementation, including RFIs/FRPs, outcome evaluations and negotiations / contract onboarding
    • End point & detection tools and implementations
    • Requirements gathering and definition, GAP analysis and testing
    • Transitioning of security solutions into operational service
  • Strong working knowledge of Project management methodologies; specifically Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid
  • A successful candidate will come from a change delivery background and will have held similar positions delivering security projects across a number of security domains.
  • Provide direction and governance for the delivery and implementation of the set of security projects.
  • Set up and deliver objectives, timelines and dependencies providing clear reports and updates to GPT & Programme leadership, supporting teams and markets CTOs
  • Take the high level project brief and break down to a detailed plan, dependencies, risks, issues understanding each component of the project and resources and budget required to complete the project
