Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Discretionary bonus

Location: London

Continuous Improvement Manager is required to join a licensing agency. They will be playing a vital role in fostering and embedding LEAN and Agile delivery practices to create a culture of continuous improvement and learning with the company. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Projects, Programmes & Delivery, also working closely with a range of business and project stakeholders, to support and deliver business transformation and a best-in-class continuous improvement approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading on the creation and management of a tailored continuous improvement environment to support ongoing transformation.

  • Identify and deliver process improvement opportunities across the business through innovative thinking and utilising process improvement methodologies/ techniques.

  • Partner with business owners to define requirements and drive process change using colleague interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysis.

  • Lead on the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working.

  • Identify process variations and work with business stakeholders to treat areas of inefficiency.

  • Own the delivery change initiatives from the identification stage through to project delivery, in line with governance controls.

  • Support business stakeholders in the identification of potential benefits and suitable success criteria and measurement metrics.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to devise support, training and reporting material based on the revised processes.

  • Coach and mentor cross-functional Continuous Improvement Champions to support successful delivery.

  • Monitor continuous improvement and change risks and issues to identify and treat potential problems.

  • Report on progress of continuous improvement and change initiatives.

  • To complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in creating and implementing a continuous improvement strategy.

  • Experience of managing and supporting organisational change/ transformation initiatives.

  • Successful delivery of process re-engineering.

  • Proficiency in business process capture techniques and software.

  • Experience of coaching & mentoring colleagues to deliver continuous improvement.

  • Experience of workshop design & facilitation.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

  • Certified Continuous Improvement Manager (CCIM)

  • Lean Black Belt Professional - or working towards attaining this qualification

  • Six Sigma Black Belt Professional - or working towards attaining this qualification
