My client is looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Assistant/Officer to join the commercial team.

The succesfull Commercial Assistant/Officer will have strong knowledge within complience and a strict attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • To learn and understand the commercial review process relating to new service developments and assist with these reviews.
  • To become familiar with the commercial risk register and to provide support to the commercial team to ensure risks are documented accordingly.
  • Manage the contract database system ensuring that contracts are uploaded in a timely manner and that the database is kept up to date.
  • Provide support to managing the relationships between internal and external stakeholders to ensure that commercial tasks remain on track.
  • Run commercial reports from the contract database system for the team as required.
  • Manage the internal commercial email inbox to ensure acknowledgements are sent to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • To learn and understand the client onboarding process for each service type and provide information to internal and external stakeholders during the onboarding process.
  • Work with the commercial team to ensure queries are answered.
  • Provide input to the weekly team call on progress and tasks.

Accountabilities

  • To support client portfolio in accordance with business commercial requirements.
  • To accurately input and maintain data within the commercial applications
  • To engage with all supporting departments and divisions across the business as appropriate to achieve local objectives.
  • To become familiarise with relevant UK and EU legislation including Public Contract Regulations; Data Protection Legislation and the Freedom of Information requests.
  • To provide a consistently high standard of practical administrative support using modern office technology, ensuring confidentiality is always maintained.
  • To ensure all company training requirements are achieved in a timely manner.
  • Be accountable for your own learning and development by attending all meetings with line management.
